Ed's Notes: Considering how often she is depicted with a Sword, and almost as often a shield, it's kind of goofy that no sources stat them out.  Somehow... Sword [Body 6: EV: 4] and Shield [Body: 14] don't seem adequate. But there you go.

2nd edition source vary in several different ways, depending on the source...

2nd Edition Background/Roster Book omits Truesight and Self Link (Spirit Travel) Powers, and her Necklace.

Atlas of the DC Universe omits Truesight and Self Link (Spirit Travel) Powers, *Mystic Links her Flight and omits her Necklace.

The Magic Sourcebook is basically identical to this entry, but includes the Limitation: Dimension Travel only allows travel between Earth and Gemworld on her Necklace and omits the note that her Self Link (Spirit Travel) only applies in the 30th Century.

Just as with Adam Strange is kind of the prototypical Spaceman Spiff character for boys, I am struck by how well Amethyst might fight the typical "magical adventure princess" archetype for young girls.  That's not to say she wouldn't be popular with other crowds, I can just imagine (growing up) that of any superhero, THIS would be the one my kid sister would be most interested in.
