This is a Trick Shot, positive RAP's indicating that opponent is trapped. Their Dex is considered to be 0 until they escape, using Str/Str vs. 3/3; RAP's must exceed the Body of their clothes (typically 1.)

Sledgehammer [Body: 12, EV: 5]

Source: 3rd Edtion Rulebook, page 170

Ed's Notes: A good examples of how poorly DC Heroes Handle's weapons. Do you really think that this guy PUNCHING me would do that much more damage than him HITTING ME WITH A FRICKIN' SLEDGEHAMMER?!  And if I'm being picky, I'd point out that without a Weaponry Skill, that already pathetically weak attack would further suffer a -2 CS OV/RV Penalty due to unskilled use!  So...

Skill: Weaponry: 6 (at least)

...is called for. And... IDK... An EV: 15, with the Limitation that the EV can't exceed the User's Str +1, on the Sledgehammer, maybe?!  At least it's useful then.

Also... Shaquille O'Neal?! REALLY, Hollywood?! Not a young Lawrence Fishburn? Not a buff Will Smith? Not Michael Clarke Duncan?! No... Fucking SHAQ. Christ.

  1. I know yo are merely depicting the characteras shown in DCH 3rd edition. But Weaponry skill and a poor sledgehamer is, to my belief, the least of the problems with this Steel. For ne thing I strongly doubt John Henry Irons is actually able topress on his own up to 400 tons (that I think would be an adding from the armor), and in general I think Write-Ups version stick very well with what the charactershould really be. As told before, not blaming you, because I know you merely copy the character as it was writen in Mayfair. I think we both agree this approach is very wrong for multiple reasons, and the part of Shaquile O'Neil - totally agreed!
