Ed's Notes: This is his Insect Body form, much stronger and tougher than his human form. (And tougher, but not as strong as his Patchwork form.) He is Swamp Thing's arch nemesis, an old, immortal ex-Nazi Mad Scientist. He created the Patchwork Man from his brother, Gregori. Also created the Un-Men and several mutated bodies for himself.

I'm a bit surprised that this form doesn't include Extra Limb, or other Powers appropriate for an insectile form. (Cling, Flight, Poison Touch...)

  1. I just picked up Blood of Heroes SE and the Batman RPG. (I've been running DC Adventures, but am converting to the DC Heroes/BoH system) I'm thinking about grabbing the Swamp Thing sourcebook. How is it? Would you recommend?
Also, thanks a ton for doing this site! It's fantastic.

    1. Thanks! Glad you like it! Swamp Thing Sourcebook... Would I recommend... I some ways, I'm not the right the guy to ask that... Lol. First, I'm a collector/completist. So I was going to buy it no matter what. And every character IN that book is included in this blog. So if you're mainly looking for CHARACTERS? I've already got you covered. ;) And while there IS a bit of story-element material in it. So if you're not all that familiar with the Swamp Thing story, that can be useful. But it's a pretty SMALL book. So... if you ARE familiar with the story already, there won't be much more that you'll get from it. But if you like Swamp Thing? Yeah, overall Id' say it's still worth getting, for a reasonable price.

    1. DAMN! At $15 you can't go wrong! Good deal!

Magic Might be a but tougher, but it's well worth it, IMHO. I want to say I got mine for ~$50? Maybe $60 (can't remember if that was with Shipping or not.) I've seen them MUCH higher though. (~$80 at the time, but I haven't looked recently.) THAT'S a good one to get though. There's a LOT of background in there, a TON of useful Characters, and a lot of useful tools for constructing a Sorcery or Spiritual based campaign. But yeah... gotta find it for the right price. Lol. For sure.
